This policy explains what personal data Baseline collects and how we use it. The data controller is Baseline. Contact: support@baselinebx.com.
What we collect
- Account data: your email address, used to sign you in with a one-time link.
- Study data: the answers you submit, mock exam results, and AI tutor messages, used to calculate your readiness and personalize your practice.
- Purchase data: payments are processed by Paddle.com as Merchant of Record. We receive confirmation of your purchase but never see or store your card details.
- Technical data: basic logs (such as IP address and browser) needed to run and secure the Service. The free diagnostic works without an account and its answers stay in your browser.
Service providers
We share data only with providers that help us run the Service:
- Supabase — account authentication and database hosting.
- Vercel — website hosting.
- Paddle.com — checkout, payment processing, tax, and invoicing.
- Anthropic — generates AI tutor responses from the question and your message. We don't send your name or email.
Some providers process data in the United States under appropriate safeguards.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, export, or delete your data at any time by emailing support@baselinebx.com. Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or the CCPA), you may have additional rights, including the right to complain to a data protection authority.
Retention
We keep your account and study data while your account is active, and delete it within 30 days of a deletion request, except where we must keep purchase records for legal or tax reasons.
Cookies
We use only essential cookies to keep you signed in, plus local storage to remember your theme and an in-progress mock exam. We don't use advertising cookies.
